To apply for an Authorization to Transport,
- you must have a valid Canadian firearms licence that permits you to have that class of firearm;
- apply for an Authorization to Transport online by accessing the Individual Web Services;
- call the Canadian Firearms Program CFP at 1-800-731-4000; or
- send an Application for an Authorization to Transport Restricted Firearms and Prohibited Firearms (form RCMP5490) to the Canadian Firearms Program of the province/territory where the firearm is located.
The Silvercore Club is RCMP approved club for ATT and Restricted PAL issuance and renewal. After signing up for a membership with Silvercore, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail with a link to your account. This is where you will be able to view and print your electronic Membership Letter.
Note : You must be logged into your account to view your membership letter. To download the pdf letter, go to your Dashboard and under Account Details, you will find "RCMP/ATT Letter". Download this pdf and include it with your Application for an Authorization to Transport Restricted Firearms and Prohibited Firearms (form RCMP5490)
YES!!! - The Canadian Firearms Program requires an active membership to an RCMP approved shooting club or shooting range must be continuously held for lawful possession of restricted firearms. Please contact the CFO’s office directly if you have any questions or concerns. To renew your club membership immediately, click here.
No, membership issuance is automatic and immediate. Proof of membership to the Silvercore Club as well as insurance and club member discounts and benefits are available 24/7 through our website.
No, because we are a not-for-profit gun club we are unable to provide any discounts relating to our gun club membership. You do, however, have the benefit of receiving discounts with participating retailer’s as a gun club member.
There are no requirements. You can even sign up without a PAL to receive other perks to being a member like our 5 million in liability insurance.
Silvercore Gun Club does not have its own range, and that is part of what keeps the membership so inexpensive. Members who want to go target shooting can attend any range that allows drop-ins. We maintain a list of drop-in-friendly ranges to get you started, with a focus on British Columbia.here.
Silvercore Club members get discounts through our partner retailers and on many Silvercore products and online courses. To see the current list, log in and go to your Dashboard. Under Account Details you will find the member discounts PDF. You will also receive email newsletters with new discounts and exclusive limited-time promotions for members.
The Silvercore Club has a membership base across all provinces and territories. The Silvercore Club membership meets legislated and regulated issuance requirements for ATT’s as well as restricted PAL’s throughout Canada. Every province deals with issuing ATT’s and RPAL’s differently and as such, Silvercore is not responsible for individual firearms officer denying an applicant an ATT or RPAL.
